Manuscripts considered suitable for further evaluation undergo peer review by reviewers with relevant academic and professional expertise.

Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, confidential, timely, and evidence-based evaluations and to disclose any competing interests that could affect their impartiality.

JPKI applies a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of authors are concealed from reviewers and the identities of reviewers are concealed from authors.

Peer reviewers provide recommendations to support editorial decision-making; however, the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection remains the responsibility of the journal's editorial team.

JPKI is committed to maintaining high standards of research integrity and publication ethics.

Authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher are expected to comply with the journal's Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement and relevant internationally recognized principles of responsible scholarly publishing.

JPKI recognizes the increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies in research and scholarly communication.

Authors remain fully responsible and accountable for the originality, accuracy, integrity, and content of their submitted manuscripts, including content developed with the assistance of AI technologies.

Artificial intelligence tools, including generative AI systems, cannot be listed as authors or co-authors because they cannot assume responsibility and accountability for scholarly work.

Where AI-assisted technologies have materially contributed to manuscript preparation, data analysis, or other components of the research process, their use should be transparently disclosed where appropriate.

The financial and operational arrangements of JPKI should be managed in a manner that protects editorial independence and scholarly integrity.

Revenue sources may include institutional support, publication fees, sponsorship, or other legitimate sources of financial support.

Financial, commercial, institutional, or professional considerations must not influence decisions concerning manuscript evaluation, peer review, acceptance, or rejection.
