Call for Papers: JPESS Vol. 6 No. 2 (October 2026)

The Journal of Physical Education for Secondary Schools (JPESS) invites researchers, academics, educators, and practitioners to submit original manuscripts for publication in Volume 6, Number 2 (October 2026).

JPESS is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. We welcome high-quality original research, systematic reviews, and empirical studies in areas including:

  • Physical education pedagogy and teaching methods
  • Sports and physical activity for secondary school students
  • Student health, fitness, and well-being
  • Curriculum, assessment, and evaluation in physical education
  • Adapted physical education and inclusive practice

All manuscripts must be written in English and prepared according to the journal's Author Guidelines using the official JPESS template. As a fully open-access journal, JPESS does not charge any submission or publication fees to authors.
